The Petal-Float feeder is a float designed to be used as a surface float within a wide variety of water reservoirs due to its segmented hexagon shape and interlocking peg system. Reduces drowning of bees in larger reservoir feeders.
7 segments put together is sized for a 5 gallon bucket. Smaller watering stations or dishes can be accommodated by simply adjusting the amount of hexagons used together. Internal air pockets scales buoyancy whenever size is increased.
Holes are sized to allow for a thin pool of water to seep through without honeybee drowning and also helps slow water loss due to evaporation.
