Dolly is the founder and owner of RMBS. She is the heart and soul of the business where her passion for bees and helping fellow beekeepers is clearly felt. She believes there is nothing more fascinating than watching bees going about their work and knowing how much they help our environment and our lives. Dolly mentors beekeepers throughout the year and speaks at local meetings, festivals, and outreach events.
Lindsey is the general manager and runs the day-to-day operations of the store as well as leading our efforts to stand up our online website and store. She continues to succeed in meeting the challenges of growing the company in the beekeeping industry as well as supporting fellow beekeepers.
Jeff is the production manager. Jeff served our Nation as a Green Beret and continues to support fellow veterans through beekeeping opportunities as well as his efforts with wolf rescues. Both beekeeping and working with wolves requires patience, focus, and passion, which are all beneficial traits for veterans.
Jaedon is the newest member of the team. He actively participates in the general running of the business as well as continuing to develop our online presence and marketing material. He supports teaching beekeeping classes, as well as mentors aspiring and new beekeepers.
Chris is the founder and co-owner of Rocky Mountain Beekeepers. He leads all commercial pollination services as well as managing hives to develop Packages, NUCs and Hives for sales. Chris is a commercial beekeeper who continues to grow the number of our working apiaries throughout the State of Colorado for both pollination and honey.
Leonard is the co-owner of RMBS as well as RMB. A retired green beret, he is constantly looks for ways to better adapt bees to survive the Colorado and greater Rocky Mountain region and climate. Over the years, he organized workshops to help bring awareness to the importance of bees, and to help beginning beekeepers with issues related to hive maintenance and development.
Cole stands by to keep all of our websites, security systems and computers running. He also jumps in throughout the season to help run the store and take care of the bees.
Jake provides all around support. Whether it is building boxes, extracting honey or handing out bees.
Kilie helps out in the store and in the commercial yards. She is very knowledgeable about beekeeping and you'll often find her helping out on the sales floor or the register. She believes that kids are the future supporters of honeybees and with her assistance with youth classes, helps introduce kids to the fascinating world of the honeybee as well as enriching their appreciation of nature.
Blake is the salesman of the year award winner. He is an avid beekeeper as well as a mad scientist, magician, engineer and hockey player.
Chris S. leads all sales and operations throughout the State of Arkansas.
Jack leads all sales and operations throughout the State of New Mexico.
Dann is the founder and owner of Purvis Brothers Bees. A former retired commercial beekeeper and queen breeder, Dann teaches our intermediate and advanced beekeeping curriculum as well as conducting private mentorships and house calls. Dann has several decades of experience in beekeeping and is the only person to patent a breed of honeybee, his Goldline queens, in Georgia. Dann has lectured all over the country and has briefed Congress.
Paul Di Diego teaches classes on home-brew mead making. He instructs students on some of the many methods of making mead from equipment basics, techniques, recipes, etc.
