Hive365™ Premium Top Feeder (Ships From Warehouse)

This new top feeder is the "cat's meow" and one of the very best feeding options out there! Designed from scratch by our HillCo team, it combines all of the best features and design elements that we've seen in many other bee feeders over the years.

We love top feeders. They are simple, easy to use, easy to fill, and have a LOT of capacity. As a bonus, this one is translucent (virtually clear), allowing you to potentially gain some important knowledge about your hives' health and strength every time you open the lid to feed! 

The feeder floor slopes toward the center, meaning that the bees can access all of the syrup even if your hive is tilted a bit.

The bees access syrup by climbing up through the center feeding cones. The generous access area means they can take the syrup quickly, with minimal drowning risk.

The feeder fits either our Hive365 hives or any 10-frame wooden hive (when paired with proper shim boxes).

You'll see 4 different purchase options for this feeder:

1. Feeder only - this is the clear feeder assembly with no "shim" or outer box around it. This would typically be the option you choose if you already have the box or are making your own.
2.  Includes Hive365 Shim: this includes the feeder, and shim/outer box to integrate with our Hive 365 system
3. Includes Wax Dipped Wood Shim: this includes the feeder, and wooden shim/outer box to work with traditional 10-frame wooden hives. The shim is wax dipped to provide decades of durability in the elements! No painting or additional wood treatment is needed.
4. Replacement Wood Shim ONLY - NO FEEDER: this is just the wax-dipped wood shim/outer box. No feeder insert is included.

NOTE: The "replacement wooden shim" option also can work with our yellow Canacell style feeders
