This tool uncaps by gently shearing the wax cappings off the comb while a triangular guide ensures the tines do not dig in too deep to the comb.
This uncapper works best with combs built on plastic or wired wax foundation; foundationless combs can't withstand the downward pressure required to make the tool work properly.
