    10 Frame Shim Spacer is a great hive component to always have on hand for for introducing a queen with a cage, placing medication, feeding winter sugar bricks, spring patties, winter patties, or fondant, and even providing "hangout" space above the inner cover.  3" height.

    Note: bees will burr comb the space from bottom of shim to bottom of super should you leave it on too long. We recommend painting the outside of the shim spacer for longevity with an outdoor latex paint.
