Suit Youth GloryBee Round Veil

Getting your children excited about beekeeping is a wonderful opportunity to engage in an activity the whole family can enjoy. It is also a great way to create an interest in a hobby that can be passed along to the next generation.

We have found that some kids are hesitant about getting near honeybees let alone working inside a hive. Stings are far and away the number one fear. To help alleviate some of this concern, your young beekeeper can feel safe we with our heavy-duty youth bee suit.

Made from a cotton polyester blend, these comfortable youth suits feature a zipper-front with an easy-to-use detachable round mesh veil. All zippers on our bee suits and jackets are durable polyurethane coated YKK vislon zippers with a metal pull that will last you many seasons. The elastic bands around the wrist allow for maximum protection for small hands. In addition each suit has thumb straps attached to the wrists which keep the sleeves from creeping up under gloves.

Two convenient chest pockets are located on the front and there are also two waist pockets on the right and left sides which allow for your kids to store their tools while working with the bees. The elasticized ankles have zippers on the inside which allows for ease of putting on and taking off. An extra bonus with our youth bee suits is that they have double Velcro enclosures which provides even more protection from bees trying to crawl inside.

This suit comes with a round veil. These round veils keep wiring away from children's faces even when kneeling and bending, and offer a good range of view.

Sizing

This youth beekeeping suit will fit most children who are between 43 and 45” and weigh between 35 and 43 pounds.

It's important to make sure that you choose the right size beekeeping suit for your child. If you choose a child’s suit that's too small or too big, it won't be comfortable for your child while working with bees. Most importantly it won't provide the best protection for your little ones. To make sure you choose the right size, here are measurement instructions:

1. With a measuring tape, measure the height of your child while standing, from the top of their head to the floor.
2. Measure the circumference of the widest part of your child's chest by placing the tape under their arms and wrapping it around their torso
